I have worked as a clinical social worker since 1994. I graduated that same year from the University of Chicago's School for Social Service Administration. My resume includes the following experiences:
*Serve as Director of Mental Health Services for one of the Midwest's largest LGBT service organizations.
*Serve as liaison and advisory board member for field instruction at 2 of Chicago's leading graduate social work programs
*Associated with a large community mental health center in the western suburbs of Chicago, providing short and long-term psychotherapy to a wide spectrum of clients. This agency uses a psychodynamic approach to treat a broad range of problems and disorders.
*Served as chairperson for an organization of service providers to youth throughout the Chicagoland area, promoting awareness and treatment of childhood disorders.
*Supervised two residential housing programs for persons with HIV/AIDS, providing psychosocial assessments, psychotherapy, support groups and other on-site mental health services.
*Partner with four other professionals working in private practice.
